Middleweight champion Anderson Silva's manager, Ed Soares tells Sherdog he would prefer to have Anderson fight welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre next, but that it's not looking likely.

Following Rashad Evans' loss to Rogerio Nogueira, Dana White revealed plans to set up a championship fight between Chris Weidman and MW champ Anderson Silva, probably during summer 2013.

Shortly after UFC FW (145 lb) champ Jose Aldo defeated Frankie Edgar, #1 LW (155 lb) contender Anthony Pettis told UFC President Dana White that he wanted to drop to FW to fight for Aldo's title.

Responding to criticism from UFC President Dana White, former Strikeforce featherweight-W (145 lb) champion, Cris "Cyborg" Santos challenged UFC bantamweight-W (135 lb) champ Ronda Rousey to a catchweight fight at 140 lb.
Cyborg's camp thinks it would be too much for her to cut to 135, but Rousey and the UFC don't seem to want to budge on that stance. Hopefully some resolution can be found because this is the women's MMA fight everyone wants to see. - MagWar
